Franks Diner in Kenosha, Wisconsin, is a classic American diner. This wonderful establishment stretches back to the railcar diners of the 1920s. On this episode I talk with Kevin Ervin about the history of this iconic Wisconsin diner.
The Three Stooges and Local Characters
Franks Diner in Kenosha has a rich history. They have had their share of celebrities stop by. The Three Stooges were doing a show in town and enjoyed a meal at Franks. There was also never a shortage of local characters who would show up drunk through the years. What I learned from Kevin is you never know what or who is going to show up at Franks Diner.
Where To Find Franks Diner?
Franks diner is still doing a lot of things the same way as when they opened. Kevin made it clear that they aren’t run by a corporate office. This means they can have fun with the customers and do things their way. This means they pump out great home cooked meals at affordable prices. If you are ever in the Kenosha area, you need to stop by and check these guys out.
